About Us

Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Elementary School opened in 1965 to serve families in east Port Colborne.

It was renamed for its local parish, dedicated to its patron saint, and renamed St. Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic Elementary School in 1999. Today, approximately 200 students in kindergarten through Grade 8 attend St. Thérèse Catholic Elementary School. St. Thérèse Catholic Elementary School remains an important hub in the community.

Guided by a team of professional Catholic educators, students at St. Thérèse Catholic Elementary School  learn and grow together in faith every day. St. Thérèse Catholic Elementary School is a safe and inclusive space, where all are welcome and loved as children of God.

The Home of the Titans (future Lakeshore Catholic Gators), St. Thérèse Catholic Elementary School is part of the Lakeshore Catholic High School family of schools and the St. Thérèse of Lisieux parish community.
